For the environmentally friendly connection between Staad and Meersburg via the FS “Richmond”, which can be powered by bio-LNG, Stadtwerke Konstanz (SWK) and Marine Service GmbH have signed a framework agreement for the life-cycle support of the LNG fuel system supplied by Marine Service GmbH.

Through this partnership, both companies are making an important contribution to ensuring the sustainable and reliable operation of the vessel and keeping the system technically up to date throughout its entire life cycle.

For example, the integrated remote monitoring of the automation system allows the condition of the system to be assessed in real time, if required, for joint analysis for operational purposes. This enables rapid support and continuous optimisation of the system’s operation.

In this way, engineering and operational activities merge into a holistic concept for safety, efficiency and sustainability. For Marine Service GmbH, this agreement represents a further expansion of our after-sales activities for our LNG fuel systems.
