At our Hamburg city-center location, we design and implement innovative systems, including fuel supply solutions for seagoing vessels. These systems utilize clean alternative energy sources such as LNG, methanol, and—in the future—ammonia. Our work centers on system engineering as well as our proprietary automation and safety systems. We frequently execute these projects under EPC contracts and also handle servicing and spare parts supply for our systems; consequently, procurement is a cornerstone of these projects.

What to expect:
Independently creating programs for PLC controllers and process visualization systems, as well as working at the intersection of automation and IT network interfaces
Designing and creating HMIs using various visualization tools; implementing SCADA solutions combined with remote access capabilities
Designing suitable network architectures and integrating them into IT systems
Implementing maritime cybersecurity regulatory requirements for OT systems
Providing technical support for proposal preparation and contributing to the conceptual design of new developments
Commissioning and servicing automation and IT systems for our fuel installations—both domestically and internationally—using our PLC systems (compliant with IEC 61131) and in close coordination with relevant specialist departments, customers, and applicable standards
Creating functional specifications and operating manuals, as well as conducting training sessions for operating and service personnel
What we expect:
Completed training as a technician or a degree in automation technology, IT engineering, or a related field
Ability to develop applications compliant with IEC 61131 for control platforms (e.g., TIA Portal / CODESYS V3.5)
Proficiency in programming using Structured Text (ST), Function Block Diagram (FBD), and Ladder Diagram (LD)
Knowledge of bus systems (e.g., Modbus TCP, PROFIBUS/PROFINET) for networking automation components and integrating them into IT networks
Knowledge of applications in a Linux environment is desirable
Experience with marine electrical systems and familiarity with classification society regulations is desirable
Experience with TIA Portal or CODESYS is desirable
Strong technical aptitude and knowledge, particularly in instrumentation and control (I&C) technology
Willingness to undertake occasional international travel Commissioning assignments
Good written and spoken English skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Class B driver's license
